4-(3-Nitrophenyl)morpholine’s Chemical properties

4-(3-Nitrophenyl)morpholine
Morpholine is an organic chemical compound with the chemical formula O (CH2CH2) 2NH. This heterocycle, pictured to the right to offer, both amine and ether functional groups. Due to the amine, morpholine is a base whose conjugate acid is used as morpholinium. For example, neutralization with hydrochloric acid morpholine salt morpholinium chloride.
Morpholine is widely used in organic synthesis. For example, it is a building block in the production of the antibiotic linezolid, the anticancer agent Gefitinib (IRESSA) and the analgesic dextromoramide.
Lead in research and industry, the low cost and the polarity of morpholine to its common use as solvents for chemical reactions.
