The use of Latanoprost

Latanoprost is almost colorless pale yellow viscous oily,
Latanoprost is a new alternative phenyl propyl ester prostaglandin F2a, it is the selective F2a receptor agonist. It is a non-active but it can quickly penetrate into the material inside the cornea, the cornea and the plasma can be hydrolyzed to the free acid with activity. It can increase aqueous outflow through the eyes of the amount of hormone level, the dosage is small, but sufficient for a large amount of aqueous, liquid can penetrate to choroidal upper eyelashes on the eye, with good IOP lowering effect.
