Terazosin is used for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Terazosin can also be used to treat high blood pressure, can be used alone or with other antihypertensive drugs such as diuretics or α1-adrenergic blockers.
Terazosin is white to off-white crystalline powder,and it is an a-1-adrenergicblocker related to prazosin.
